There are currently nearly 1000 members of the Montour Trial Council. Members receive a bi-monthly newsletter, an invitation to the Annual dinner meeting, bumper stickers and trail guides. When we apply for funding from foundations and government bodies, one of the first things they look at is the size of the membership body. Your membership dues help us build and maintain the trail.
Your membership counts not only for the few dollars it costs you, but it helps too as a sort of "body count", to substantiate the broad public support the Montour Trail enjoys. The more members we have, the louder our voice speaks when we go to any individual or group for support.
