The Montour Trail Trail Rules

Trail users are expected to obey the following rules:
  1. No motorized vehicles
  2. No horses, except in Cecil Township between Hendersonville (Morganza Road) and Venice (PA 980). Horses must stay off the improved limestone surface where possible and the rider must clean up after his/her mount.
  3. Keep right, except to pass
  4. Warn before passing
  5. Stay on the trail
  6. Trail open daily, dawn to dusk
  7. Camping only in designated areas
  8. Leash your pet
  9. No hunting

Also note that planned events must comply with the trail's Event Policy.
