Trail Detour South Park Township MM 36

A portion of the Montour Trail in South Park Township, between MM 36 and 36.5, is closed temporarily while a contractor excavates a nearby pond. The work is weather-dependent, scheduled to begin around 3/21, and lasting around 3 weeks.
The attached map shows the Trail, construction ,and detour, which is signed. The green line is the existing trail; the yellow line is the detour (all on paved roads with traffic); and the red shaded box is where excavation and truck traffic occur. The blue closed loop is the detention pond. Its soil at its bottom is being excavated then then further deepened by excavating rock.
