Bethel Park Penny Day

Volunteers from Friends of the Montour Trail in Bethel Park will be accepting donations of any kind, from pennies to dollars to checks, on Saturday, October 10, from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm, at the following locations:
- Irishtown Road Trailhead parking lot
- Clifton Road at Washington Elementary
- Limestone Road trail crossing and parking lot
Donations are used to fund maintenance supplies and minor trail improvements within the Bethel Friends-maintained trail section, such as grass cutting, tree pruning, parking lot maintenance, bench and shelter maintenance, and controlling the never-ending growth of weeds. Montour Trail Council does not receive community or government funding for everyday operations.
