GAP closure

A one-month closure of the Great Allegheny Passage trail starting next month in West Mifflin is a prelude to an $8 million project to fix multiple landslides.
A 2-mile section of the trail, near milepost 137, will close completely from the evening of July 9 to Aug. 6 for a scaling project to remove loose rocks from the hill above the trail.
