TRAIL ALERT: Closure MM 34 (Peters Township)

June 15 - June 18

Because of a water-main leak under Montour Trail at MM 34 in Peters Township, the PA American Water Company needs to completely close the trail there beginning Monday, June 15. Workers will install barricades and fencing, and there will be no passage around the work site. The extent/time frame of the closure will be known only after an inspection reveals the actual damage.

A section of the Arrowhead Trail will be closed from the Route 19 bridge to the trail parking lot next to the Peters Township Sanitary Station. The trail will be completely closed while work is in progress.
