Along the Airport connector beyond the mainline MM 7.8, work began in early August to replace the Clinton Enlow Bridge, which is near MM A-0.9. The bridge itself will be closed to all traffic beginning October 13, for a month. There is not a viable on-road detour. The trail and the new bridge is tentatively scheduled to reopen on November 14.
The all-volunteer Maintenance crew will conduct resurfacing work on the Westland Branch beginning September 17 until completion in October. The parking lot at Hornhead Road will be closed at times while work is ongoing. Please use caution in the area; if you are biking, walk your bicycle around the equipment to help keep our volunteers and fellow trail users safe.
A First Energy utility crew will be on the Bethel branch this coming week, scheduled to work on Tuesday, September 30, through Thursday, October 2. Though they may not be working on the Trail itself, there will be signs and safety cones between Limestone Drive and Clifton Road to alert cyclists and pedestrians. Be cautious in the area.

A work crew will be onsite at National tunnel clearing debris from Monday, October 13, through Friday, October 17. The crew will include flaggers to hep you get safely around the area. Be alert and slow down as you approach the tunnel from either direction.
A section of Montour Trail in the Airport area will be closed all day Monday, October 27. The section affected is from Old Beaver Grade Road to Hassam Road. Workers will be stationed near the Forest Grove Sportsman Club near MM 1.5, and there will be no detour around this. That trail section will re-open Tuesday morning.
