Maintenance crew volunteers are currently conducting major resurfacing operations inPeters and Bethel Park communities, between Churchill Road and Library viaduct, MM 33-34.5. Trail users should exercise caution in this area, since heavy equipment, including excavators, dump trucks, steamrollers, and tractors will be in use. The maintenance crew expects to continue working in these areas until at least early October.
The public is formally invited to the Montour Trail Coraopolis connector Grand Opening on Saturday, September 19, at 10:00 AM at the Montour Trail Mile 0.0 trailhead (parking off Montour-Coketown Road, Moon Township).
