    The public is formally invited to the Montour Trail Coraopolis connector Grand Opening on Saturday, September 19, at 10:00 AM at the Montour Trail Mile 0.0 trailhead (parking off Montour-Coketown Road, Moon Township). There will be a short ceremony and a ribbon cutting. The .8-mile Coraopolis connector will give Montour Trail users a direct connection to downtown Coraopolis and its many amenities.     Join us to honor the late, former Montour Trail Maintenance Crew Chief Frank Ludwin. Montour Trail Council volunteers will name the garage at Kurnick trailhead in his honor, to mark the the significant contributions he made to the trail. The 10 am event will be held on the trail at the Kurnick trailhead access, off Cecil Henderson Road. For those who plan to bicycle to the event, the location is MM 25.6.
