Starting July 11, the all-volunteer maintenance crew will be resurfacing the Bethel Park branch line. Please be patient and use caution while maneuvering around the volunteers and resurfacing equipment. Paving equipment may occupy various Bethel-area parking lots during this time, so use alternative lots if you encounter congestion.
In late July, a construction crew and volunteers will be installing fencing along the Trail in the Cecil area, near MM 24.3, which is close to McConnell Road. Be cautious as you approach the area when the crew is working.
A streambank stabilization project will take place late July through mid August on Montour Trail along Sawmill Run. There will be heavy equipment at the work site, including large excavators and trucks that will come and go throughout the workday between 7am and 5pm. Temporary stoppage of trail traffic is likely. Please use caution in that area and heed the signs/flaggers' warnings.
