  • Long-term Construction in Airport Area: Summer-Fall 2025, Spring 2026

    Duquesne Light is replacing transmission lines and towers near Hassam Road (MM 1.4), so there may be temporary closures in that area, especially in late summer-early fall 2025 and again in spring 2026. Be cautious from MM .8 to 1.4; follow all wa+rnings on signage as well as verbal instructions from construction flaggers.

  • JR Taylor 5K Run/Walk

    The JR Taylor 5K is a family-friendly event, run or walked on Montour Trail. Location: It begins 800 feet north of the trail’s J. R. Taylor Memorial bridge over Clifton Road in Bethel Park, near Washington Elementary School and Al's Cafe. Chipped timing, t-shirts, medals, snacks, and door prizes and more included!   • TRAIL ALERT: Closure MM 34 (Peters Township)

    Because of a water-main leak under Montour Trail at MM 34 in Peters Township, the PA American Water Company needs to completely close the trail there beginning Monday, June 15. Workers will install barricades and fencing, and there will be no passage around the work site. The extent/time frame of the closure will be known only after an inspection reveals the actual damage.
