2024 Tour the Montour

Join us for our 22nd annual Gateway Engineers Tour the Montour, the Montour Trail Council’s signature bicycle-ride fundraiser on Saturday, September 21. Pedal on the region’s premier rail-trail with family and friends to support us.
Choose from one of four routes that begin at the trail’s mile zero in Coraopolis: the family ride, 12 miles or less; middle-distance,15-24 miles; long-distance, 44 miles; or the metric century, 62 miles.
The Tour includes a number of well-stocked rest stops with fruit, snacks, water, and happy volunteers. Also: SAG support from the trail’s bike patrol and a post-ride picnic lunch with all the fixin’s at the Forest Grove Sportsmen’s Club lunch.
Local bike stores will provide last-minute mechanical support, top-off the air in your tires, or get your seat properly aligned. Receive a free and collectable Tour t-shirt if registered by September 1. Online and mail-in registration begins June 3.

Please become a sponsor of this year’s Tour. Sponsor support helps to keep the Montour Trail the region’s premier outdoor spot for all to use. Your support funds trail maintenance and resurfacing, equipment and tools for volunteers to care for the trail, rental of chemical toilets along the trail, and completing various trail projects. The Montour Trail receives no ongoing governmental support.
