Join Montour Trail volunteers to celebrate Earth Day in Mount Lebanon. This local event is a celebrated community happening focusing on conservation based-education and services from local community organizations, nonprofits, businesses, and sustainable products from local artists and vendors.
Join us as we celebrate the re-opening of Greer tunnel. Local, county and state officials will gather with Montour Trail volunteers at MM 28.6 to cut the ribbon, allowing users to once again traverse the entire trail. Click to enlarge The tunnel is ~1.5 mile from the Hendersonville parking area (Tandem Connection) and ~ 0.4 mile from the Linwood trailhead (limited parking).

The Westland branch is the newest of Montour Trail’s completed spurs. The Westland Friends group celebrates its first Penny Day this year on Sunday, May19, from 9 am to 3 pm at Galati Road trailhead. Stop by, check it out, and make a much-needed donation!
