The Montour Trail Maintenance Crew will be conducting resurfacing operations in Cecil township between the National Tunnel (MM 25) and the Tandem Connection (MM 27.2) in mid-September. There will be large equipment on the trail, including excavators, tractors and steamrollers. Please pay close attention to all warning signs. Use caution and please walk your bicycle around the equipment. Help to keep us all safe — both the volunteer workers and your fellow Montour Trail users.

Alternate parking options include: Hendersonville (Tandem Connection) off Cecil-Henderson Road at MM 27.1 Hendersonville Park (Bucky McPherson Memorial pavilion) off Oriole Drive near MM 26.9
Peters Township Friends Group will hold its "Penny Day" on Saturday, October 5, from 9 am to 1 pm. Volunteers will accept donations of pennies, other change, and large bills. Please support this important fundraiser because all proceeds will be used to maintain the Peters Township section of the Montour.
